The bass strings are actually comparable in length to a tall upright piano. Although it is a miniature piano, it has a very clever design because it has longer bass strings in comparison to other small pianos. Being a smaller piano and a Mini Royal, it would be a great option for a more advanced player with limited space. This piano's amazingly clever design, being a Mini Royal, gives it the same tone as a much larger piano - the strings are the same length if not l onger than much larger pianos. JAE 44 Eavestaff Upright Piano with matching stool. The dimensions of this piano are: a height of 110 cm, width of 137.5 cm and a depth of 51 cm. This piano was manufactured in London in the 1950’s. This is a very interesting piano because when it is closed it resembles a desk and it is rather small piano, referred to as an ‘Eavestaff Pianette Minipiano’, which would be very suitable when one does not have very much space to accommodate a piano.
